Marquesa Royale penthouse features interior design by Beasley and Henley - Naples Daily News

WCI Communities has selected Beasley and Henley Interior Design to create interiors for the new Marquesa Royale luxury penthouse condominium model at Tiburón, a 943-acre resort community neighboring the prestigious Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples.

Visitors to the new model may be overcome by a sudden desire for instant gratification. At least that's what interior designer Troy Beasley hopes.

"This home has an inviting environment that people will enjoy as they walk from room to room," said Beasley, design principal at Beasley and Henley. "I want them to think, 'This is fabulous, I could easily spend time here and I want to buy it.'"

Beasley and Henley, with offices in Naples and Winter Park, is creating a sophisticated, soft modern design throughout the three-bedroom home's 2,900 square feet of air-conditioned living space. Its color palette of warm grays, tone-on-tone white and creamy neutrals and pops of bright, sunny gold will appeal to American and European buyers.

"It's sophisticated and soothing, almost like a salon look," said Beasley, who is accenting the space with an eclectic mix of modern abstract art, clean-lined furnishings, reproduction antiques, whimsical accent pieces and oversized prints on throw pillows and draperies. "The concept reflects a couple who travel and have collected items they love during their travels."

Beasley and Henley's design also reflects today's technology and the tendency for entertaining. Instead of a room-filling desk in the media room, the designer opted for a comfortable sofa and small desk. "Most people come to Naples to entertain friends and get away," Beasley said. "They have laptops or iPads these days and don't have to be hooked into the wall. They might go online for a few minutes to check email or stocks."

In the kitchen, Beasley and Henley converted a storage area into a bar with an under-counter wine refrigerator, glass tile backsplash and upper cabinets with glass doors, an option offered to homebuyers through WCI's Design Studio. "It's the perfect spot for a cocktail area," he said.

"The home's main rooms are connected visually to make moving about feel natural and effortless," Beasley added.

The model is expected to be completed in December 2011 and priced at $929,665, furnished.

Marquesa Royale is one of the newest – and fastest-selling – neighborhoods in Tiburón, the resort community created by WCI Communities adjacent to The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples and features 36 holes of Greg Norman-designed golf. Penthouse condominiums are priced from the mid $700,000s and offer great room floor plans and expansive wrap-around loggias with golf views. Each home has a private elevator, enclosed garage, designer appliances and upgrades.

The three-story buildings in Marquesa Royale's final phase each offer six residences, with two on each floor.

Tiburón also offers a collection of single-family estate homes in the Marsala neighborhood. Floor plans range from 3,526 to 4,412 square feet, with prices starting at $595,000, not including homesite.

WCI Communities' new trial membership program extends the benefits of full Tiburón Golf Club membership – championship golf, dining at the 27,000-square-foot clubhouse plus use of the Fitness & Health Club, concierge services and Rick Smith Golf Academy – to buyers who have signed a contract and intend to become club members.

Tiburón is just minutes from the area's beaches, Fifth Avenue, fine dining and entertainment and cultural venues. It is also convenient to I-75 and Southwest Florida International Airport. The sales center, located off Airport Road, is open daily. For more information, call 239-593-9199, toll-free 800-889-7922, or visit www.TiburónWCI.com.
